The Phantom tells us today the 2009 H2 is currently in production in Indiana. The 2009 H3 is currently in production in Shreveport, however, both assembly lines have cut shifts. The H2 announcement is significant, because at the present time several large GM 2009 SUV assembly lines are still shut down. As of Friday, the Hummer H2 had the highest production rate of any 2009 GM large SUV. The ability to run on E85 ethanol is a strong factor as well as a tremendous increase in H2 sales abroad, in fact, Hummer had the largest sales increase % of any GM brand abroad!!
