It looks like the Hummer H3 and H2 might never see production again. Odds makers are saying 70% that Hummer will fold, 30% that it will be bought and production restarted. (Source: Vegas Strip Odds on Anything) Collectors are noticing this and picking up H3s & H2s and saving them for collection purposes. A report by a dealer recently told of an Internet sale of four brand new H3s and the instructions to arrange for shipment to Japan within a week.
These were all loaded H3s and not stripped down models. Forecasting the value of anything, especially vehicles, in the future is at best a crapshoot. If you want, what could be the last and the best Hummer ever made, you better act fast before they are all on ships going overseas just like many American jobs!
