Chinese business information sites are reporting that Tengzhong is near agreement with a sales program for all US Hummer dealerships, warranty and service work at Hummer dealerships, and operation of Hummer with an offshore company. Heartening news is that they will continue R&D for future Hummer models to include an all new H3 and H4 before 2012. Until 2012 GM will manufacture all Hummer models in the US. Nothing specifically has been said about the H2 or H1 Alpha which GM had exclusive rights to market and produce. Many market analysts feel Hummer cannot survive without the production of its flagship H2 and possibly a token limited production of the H1 Alpha.
