From reader Mark L in Kansas. "I love my 2009 H2. I bought it new and now have 15,584 miles on it and everything works fine with no problems. It hasn't had to go back to the dealer for anything. I love the power of the 6.2 engine and I find the seats very comfortable, as do my wife and three sons. The smooth ride has surprised us and when we had our snowstorm in February, I was one of the few vehicles going anywhere.
Mileage has been about what I expected (most of the driving out here is highway) 13 mpg on regular and 12 mpg on ethanol E85. Except for a rougher idle and a different exhaust smell, I notice very little difference between running on gas or E85. E85 is plentiful here and over the last year I've paid anywhere between $1.09 a gallon to $2.19 a gallon, with the average being around $1.69 a gallon (the current price). I figure running on E85 has saved me almost $1000 in the last year by running it instead of gas. I run E85 about 80% of the time."
