Will South China Flooding Save Hummer?

With the worst flooding in a century in Southern China, Hummers were seen rushing aid and supplies down muddy and flood damaged streets. Guizhou province reported 76 cm (30 inches) of rain in the southern most part of the province in a period of 72 hours. In Jiangxi province, five days of rains totaling over 40 inches have made dirt roads impassible except for military vehicles and the most rugged 4 X 4s.
There may have been a shift in the government's attitude towards manufacturing the Hummer, said Xiang Chow in an interview with the BBC. They have seen just how valuable and rugged the Hummer is, whether it's the H1, H2 or H3 in flooding and muddy conditions. Will this act of God tip the scales in favor of government approval of the Hummer sale?
