The Phantom tells me that the Hummer H2 should start production on January 25th - you heard it here first and I'm ready to go to the dealer with my deposit. It will be very similar to the 2009 H2 with a new exterior color added (please for me, make it YELLOW) and an upgraded Adventure type package. Dealers should start taking orders for the new H2 sometime in December. The Phantom says there are some tax advantages to Tengzhong by delaying production until 2010. If that's the case, wonder why they just didn't use a fiscal year for tax purposes on the H2 production. Also under consideration for the H2 is the GM off the shelf 430 hp stump pulling LS3 engine, currently used in the new C6 Corvettes. The Phantom said not to get my hopes up too much on that one!
