Hummer Brand Being Reviewed

Flash Message - June 3, 2008 GM Chairman and CEO Rick Wagner announced GM is closing production at 4 truck/SUV plants and "making a complete strategic review of the Hummer brand." The Hummer Phantom advised me this morning from the GM puzzle palace that a foreign car maker has long been interested in purchasing the Hummer brand name from GM (possibly a car company in India and one in China) and this morning's statement will help quash GM stockholders criticism that nothing is being done in a timely manner by GM to address rising fuel costs. The Phantom is a source of Hummer rumors, half-truths and innuendo. The Phantom feels that GM will put the Hummer brand up for sale in the near future!! Stay tuned!
